We’re one step closer to finishing the kitchen. Dave was able to finish the backsplash (round of applause, please).
I love it….it is very neutral, and it feels almost like an old cobblestone street or something. While I love the subway tile look, it felt a little “city-slicker”, as we say out in the country. I wanted something that felt more aged. We do have a barn house, after all.
While we did put one coat of sealer on it, it sucked it up and looks quite dry again. A few more coats should do the trick!
An ugly florescent light needs to be replaced, and then I’ll get some professional pics for you guys!
