Painting for Grandpa

I am excited to show you a few paintings I worked on for Christmas.

This drawing was for Grandpa.  His granddaughter (4 years old) came to my studio and, with her mommy, told me all the colors she wanted.  She wrote signatures on another page, and we worked them into the painting.  I loved how she drew their “bones”.  Children’s  imagination never cease to amaze me!

In my painting, I added a soft heart in the background.  It added some interest and texture (approved of by the original artist, of course).
